FactCollctor is a tool that utilises LLM and various databases to conduct qualitative information surveys. Survey results are compiled into CSV files containing text chunks, which can be used in later steps to construct conceptual network models using ConceptMap-Text.
Competing products/services
AI researches and lists entities in any business field and generates explanatory text summarising them. Entities can be set at the level of individual companies, series, or products/services. The market scope can also be set from global to regional or country-specific. Furthermore, settings such as consumer-oriented, large enterprise-oriented, or small and medium-sized enterprise-oriented are available. Users can also control the scope of research and the quality of text generation by setting additional prompts.
Sensory evaluation
This is the food and beverage version of competitive product research. AI researches and lists products in any field and generates descriptions of the sensory experiences of those products. It collects manufacturer descriptions and consumer comments found online. In traditional sensory evaluations, experts typically evaluate products based on several evaluation axes and assign quantitative scores. However, with ConceptMiner, you can create accurate product evaluation maps (positioning) even from descriptions written in natural language. By combining survey data with product evaluation maps, you can perform analyses such as PREFMAP.
Online News
Collect articles from news sites on any topic and summarise them in a CSV file. Google News RSS API (free), Serper API News (requires API key), NewsAPI (requires API key), Feedspot scraping, RSS/Atom feeds, etc.
Academic articles
Search major academic paper databases for any given topic and compile abstracts into a CSV file. OpenAlex (API key not required), Semantic Scholar (API key not required), arXiv (API key not required), IEEE Explore (API key required), etc.
Patent information
Search the patent database for any topic and summarise the overview of each patent in a CSV file. USPTO (API key not required), Google Patents (API key required).
Obsidian Markdown
Converts Obsidian markdown tables, widely used as field note tools, into CSV files. This tool enables traditional qualitative research data compatible with KJ method and GTA to be used in ConceptMiner.
